From my youth, immersed in the world of gastronomy beside my parents, to my studies as an agricultural engineer and oenologist, to the management of the Group’s properties, my passion for wine has never diminished. Not having been brought up in the vineyards, I went in search of experience – the Loire, Champagne, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Australia – before joining Bernard Magrez’s wine merchant company as Cellar Manager and then, soon afterwards, as Technical and Administrative Director. Nine years later, in 2010, I became technical director of the Crédit Agricole Group’s Bordeaux properties, and then deputy executive director in 2016. Since 2019, I have managed all the properties. How can one not be fascinated by this fruit of the earth, that Man transformed into wine, and which has evolved, over centuries of culture, to represent a way of life? This is a profession with so many possibilities and challenges!
« Making the right decisions today,
for tomorrow »
My ambitions: To increase the profitability of our properties in order to go further in our commitment to producing great wines; to significantly improve human and environmental values.
My strengths: Without any doubt, our incredibly motivated, dynamic teams, driven by the same broad, responsible vision. Also, perspective and humility. With vines, we have to work on a different time scale. The results of efforts made now will be seen in terms of decades. Every day, we must plan for the future. And we must maintain the same passion and drive.
